Fire Flame Retardant Materials

- Nov 27, 2013-

Due to the low oxygen index of the polymer material, up to 21% of the oxygen content of air is sufficient to meet the majority of polymer material combustion conditions. Furthermore, the release of smoke and toxic gases when burned polymer materials, not only harmful to human health, but will also cause environmental pollution.

In order to reduce the flammability of polymer materials, to prevent fires, flame retardants came into being. Flame retardants, by definition, can be used to prevent combustible materials that prevent material is ignited and the flame spread inhibition additives.
